27 listopada 2025 roku w EXPO Kraków odbył się Festiwal Uczelni – Małopolska Przyszłości. Koło Naukowe GENESYS zaprezentowało tam swoje najciekawsze projekty: interaktywną aplikację AI do rozpoznawania pisma oraz system monitorowania aktywności mózgu w czasie rzeczywistym przy użyciu opaski Muse S Athena.

5 czerwca 2025 roku dziedziniec Politechniki Krakowskiej zamienił się w arenę innowacji. Podczas Uczelnianej Sesji Kół Naukowych (USKN) zaprezentowaliśmy cztery projekty, które wcześniej wywalczyły awans na Wydziale Informatyki i Telekomunikacji. Nasz projekt dotyczący diagnostyki schizofrenii przy użyciu EEG zajął wysokie, 14. miejsce w gronie 60 najlepszych prac z całej uczelni!

On April 11, 2025, the sports hall on Kamienna Street was buzzing with activity during the Krakow University of Technology Open Days. The Genesys Student Research Club prepared an interactive booth where high school students could test our custom digit-recognition application. We demonstrated the importance of the neural network training process by comparing two models with different levels of accuracy.

From theory to practice! After months of training and smaller implementation projects, we are beginning work on our own evolutionary-algorithm library in Python. Thanks to the academic support of our supervisor, we’re ready to build a tool that fills the gap left by outdated solutions and will ultimately be published in official Open Source repositories.

We are pleased to announce that, after completing all formal procedures, the Genesys Student Research Group has been officially registered at the Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications of PK. We would like to express our gratitude to the Faculty authorities for their trust and positive feedback. We are presenting the composition of our board and supervisor, as well as sharing our story, which began back in November 2023.

We are reaching a higher level of scientific activity. A team of five of our students has taken on the ambitious task of writing a chapter for a scientific monograph published by Elsevier. The chapter focuses on diagnosing schizophrenia using artificial intelligence. Ahead lies an intensive stage of research, neural network implementation, and editorial work.
